For some time now, I’ve been partnering on short sale deals. In many ways it is so much easier to partner on deals than try to work and keep every deal by myself. A couple months ago I partnered on a short sale that sold for full retail in 14 days and we split $64,000. Tomorrow, I’m going to look at an approved short sale deal brought to me by a real estate agent with a profit margin of $40,000 with the intent of selling it retail to a buyer we already have lined up! When you become known as the local short sale expert, you will have more deals than you can handle, trust me! Not only short sale deals, you’ll get great leads on straight wholesale properties too. This is by far the best marketing / lead generation you can ever get. I used to do marketing with signs, letters, post cards, etc… Now I get more deals from referrals than I can handle. The moral of the story is this; go out and network with other investors. Let everyone know that you the go-to-guy or go-to-gal for short sales. If possible, stand up and give a short sale presentation at a local real estate investment club or real estate office. That alone will solidify you as an expert and the deals will begin to flow your way. |
